the playful Djinn

The dark monster looked him in his eyes,
gleaming with vengence and hatred, fear and surprise
"how did he get the upperhand, I was right behind him"
a grimace of a smile, the djinn canvasses his surroundings, scorning it's victim
A precipice in the shadows, to dark for the lowly man to survey
the beast, jovially dips into it's cover, taking it's time with his bait
"where'd it go, why have my eye's not percieved
for I saw it there moments ago", the man did so believe
squinting whilst edging forward, his foot steps on air,
A flinch and a mad waving of arms, keeps his footing, but feels the stare.
Just at this moment, an almighty growl is heard, followed by footsteps of thunder
boulders fall to the ground and break asunder
"What's this, something larger? can't be, what have I stumbled upon,
a hell on earth that no-one has seen or known.
the gigantian traverses towards the human, 10ft steps as fast as lightening
heaves back it's head, and like a pick-axe,
strikes down on the cranium, severing the man's back
meanwhile, giddy little djinn, lunges his hairy arm up from the blackness
grabbing the skeletal beast's  pincer and with a sharp heave
pulls the immense beast into the pit of shadows, then pulls itself up to leave.
This, is the story of a playful little orphan genie
gaining it's endorphines from the greedy.

my beautiful flower

yesterdays shampoo, lingering on the pillow
sleeping well with a nose full of miracles
music softly speaks through the air
as I dream of smelling that hair
the warmth of her side of the bed
is gone from now, but lives on in my head
As I sleep diagonally and yearn
for my sleeping beauty to return
electronic noises wakes me up with a start
and I know, this bed, I must depart
suprisingly easy to get up
I go through and fill my cup
with the sensual smell of caffiene
I reminisce all the beauty that I have seen
continueing this thought in the shower
I think of my beautiful flower
And I know that it'll not be long now
as tonight we will meet, somewhere, somehow
