  1. I don't really know a whole lot about this story. I read about it when it first happened and thought Amanda seemed suspicious. I read the e-mail, and yes...the fact that she gives so many details makes her seem as if she is being less than truthful. The whole part about the mop...if he spilled water all over the floor the night before, why not just use a towel to clean it up? Why would she have to go back to her house the next day and get a mop? Seems like she needed to explain the mop because maybe someone saw her with it? Also, the visible way in which she stresses the importance of things about herself...her being cold, her being hungry... remarking about the blood in the bathroom and saying "ew"... makes her appear to be narcissistic, as if her physical comfort is more important than her roommate being dead. Her lack of empathy for the roommate makes her seem sociopathic.

  3. I have read a bunch of articles on this case since I read your post. Most seem fixated on the sensationalism, with little regard for facts. Some seem to be on the side of the victim, while others focus on the "unfair trial" they foresee for the accused, turning her into a victim of sorts as well. There are so many inconsistancies with this case. Now there's a forensics expert who claims the knife they have doesn't match the wounds. It will be interesting to see where this goes. I'm not 100% sure she did it...but I'm leaning towards... she was there, and did nothing to stop it, but actively participated in trying to hide the crime.

  4. yup, I also don't believe she was the murderer, but she was connected in some way. The inconsistencies are off putting, it's almost as if through the confusion she'll get one verdict or the other, through a grey cloud of doubt.
